Your hosts          Véronique MILLS & Thor Inge GEITHUS
As you must guess by our names, we are not pure local blood.

Half French & half English on one side, Norwegian on the other side, we used to be quite globe-trotters. We then have spent several years in Bordeaux and now we have been charmed by Saint-Emilion and its area.

After spending several months to renovate an old wine farm, today we wish to welcome you in our spot of heaven.

I was born in Cognac where I have spent the beginning of my childhood. After that, I have spent about 10 years abroad, in Europe and Asia. It gave me the opportunity to meet new cultures and to practise foreign languages (English, Spanish and Japanese notions).

An 8 year speed pace in Paris (business School, sales & marketing jobs) made me realize that I was looking for a maore peaceful life.

I like meeting people and welcoming them. Ihave always dreamed of owing my own Bed&Breakfast.

After spending several years in Bordeaux, I have the feeling that finally I have found the place which I had always been looking for : La Petite Madeleine.

When, like me, one loves hiking and amazing landscapes, wine and its "making", beautiful stone architecture, good food,..., how can one resist?

Véronique
It is my passion for wine which has brought me to come to France and Bordeaux. It has been about 10 years and for no reason could I leave.

I have worked in my own wineshop and I have also planned tours for groups of foreign tourists wanting to discover Bordeaux and its area.

Today I want to initiate to my "fellow citizens" the French lifestyle ("l'art de vivre à la française") and to the local trreasures of Saint-Emilion.

Thor Inge
We enjoy it and we are having fun doing it

I started my career in Norway working in the hotel and restaurant area for 8 years.

I passed a Hotel Management diploma. And in addition to Norwegian, I speak English, French, Danish and Sweedish.

I have a huge interest in gastronomy and wine. I love to cook for others and my circle says that it is something that I am good at.
